Young Living Essential Oil Educator
Kellie is a Certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and a Karuna Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher, teaching Reiki Classes regularly, she is also a Certified Hypnotherapist, and an Advanced Integrative Energy Therapist. As Reiki Master Teacher, Kellie has trained in the direct lineage of Mrs. Takata, for her Reiki certifications. (Mrs. Takata brought Reiki to the United States from Japan back in the 1940's ) Kellie received her hypnotherapy training through The Cape Cod Center for Whole Health. The comprehensive training included all aspects of hypnotherapy including medical hypnosis, and hypnosis for regression, emotional and physical healing, as well as for weight loss, addiction, anxiety, depression, finding your soul's purpose and more. Integrative Energy Therapy is a hands on healing modality that works similar to Reiki, but also has a more spiritual level to the healing sessions. Kellie has taken numerous classes and is constantly expanding her skill set, to make her a more comprehensive teacher and healer. . Kellie is a member of theInternational Center for Reiki Training, and a member of The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, and recently earned a certification in essential oils through the Centre for Excellence.
Like so many of us, life's journey has taken her down many roads that have lead her to where she is today. Kellie was working in a completely different field, when at the age of 26, her only brother was murdered. This life shattering event restructured her whole life and was a catalyst in her seeking emotional healing for herself. Several years later Kellie was diagnosed with cancer, and then needed healing on a whole new level, in the physical plane. It is through recovering from her own grief and healing both emotionally and physically from the trauma of those two major life events, that Kellie was brought to Reiki, Hypnotherapy and Integrative Energy Therapy. These alternative healing modalities have assisted in elevating Kellie, in returning her to a place of balance and joy. After seeing the amazing life transformation that was able to occur in her own life, Kellie was lead to change career paths, to assist others with their own needs to find peace, balance and healing. Together with her family, Kellie developed a scholarship fund in memory of her brother. She was honored by the Boston Celtics, as a Hero Among Us for her fundraising efforts and scholarship donations to local high school seniors totaling in excess of $75,000 and rising. Chosen annually, the Scholarship Fund turns around the tragedy of her brother's passing and reframes it into triumph for the lucky scholarship recipients.
Formerly a hospice volunteer for many years, Kellie assisted clients in end of life transition, holding hands, comforting and bringing peace to those who need it most. She specializes in helping people empower themselves, and in helping people transition from the stages of grief from any kind of loss. She truly cares about all of her clients, and infuses loving compassion into all of the healing treatments that she offers. She is a healing professional, but also prides herself in becoming part of her clients own personal cheer leading squad offering encouragement as they journey down their paths. She does not judge any person or any situation, as we all have to go through "stuff" to ascend our souls and learn life lessons. Sometimes we just need someone to give us a little boost! Her goal, is to help hold a place for positive light here on the Earth, for it to shine and reach as many people, as possible through inspiration and guidance.

Lois Monteiro is a Licensed Acupuncturist specializing in Japanese Style Acupuncture and Moxibustion. Lois sees patients of all ages for conditions ranging from acute and chronic pain, digestive, autoimmune and infertility. She specializes in treating psycho-emotional conditions such as anxiety and depression. Lois holds a Master in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture/Mass College of Pharmaceutical and Health Science. She is licensed in Massachusetts by the Board of Registration in Medicine. She is also Auricular Acupuncture Certified by the Auriculotherapy Institute. Her passion for this medicine is, every person treated is seen as an individual and receives custom care. The focus of treatment is to activate the body’s natural healing potential by treating the root cause of the disharmony of mind, body and spirit to improve overall health and wellbeing.
Lois gravitates towards Japanese style acupuncture; diagnosis and treating patients based on the palpation of the abdomen and feeling of the pulse. The gentle insertion and manipulation of needles (or treatment magnets for people with needle phobia), to balance body energy is effective in treating mental/emotional disorders, infertility and pain. Moxibustion is an intricate part of treatment used to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences. Her experience at Malden Family Health Center of the Cambridge Health Alliance and Lemuel Shattuck Hospital proves valuable in integrative medicine; working on an outpatient basis. Many patients in these clinics suffered from anxiety disorders with intense side effects of their medication including nausea, mood swings, insomnia and depression. Acupuncture reduced these side effects, even supporting patients with decreasing pharmaceutical dosage without the return of anxiety. Western medicine practitioners focused on the immediate resolution of the diagnosis and the Eastern medicine practitioner focused on the underlying reasons for the disharmony causing illness. The combination of both medicines proved to shorten recovery time after surgery, negate some side effects of medication and gave the patients a feeling of wellbeing.
